01 — What it is
Every software agency that has ever existed was organised around one scarce thing: engineering time. The account manager protected it, the estimate priced it, the change request defended it. Now writing the code is no longer the expensive part, and most of that structure is obsolete. AgentSee is two developers, James Hartt and Abrar Mahmood, finding out what replaces it by building an agency rather than writing another post about it.
The podcast is the working record. Each episode is something they actually did: standing up the company's own infrastructure with agents, producing the show itself by script, and, as they come, the work for clients. What it cost, what broke, what they would not recommend, and which of the questions stated on agentsee.work it touched.
They are at the very earliest stage of this and say so. The premise exists to be argued with rather than agreed with, and guests who disagree are welcome. Transcripts, chapters and clips for every episode are at agentsee.work.
